Chili Cheese Filled Sourdough Dip

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf round sourdough loaf, unsliced
  • 1 lb mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces green chili salsa (or more to taste)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, diced

Recipe

  • 1 slice top from bread and hollow out, reserving pieces for dipping.
  • 2 layer half the cheese, half the salsa and half the chilies, repeat layers.
  • 3 replace bread top and wrap loaf completely in foil.
  • 4 bake on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
  • 5 serve hot with reserved bread dippers, raw veggies or tortilla chips.
