Chocolate Amaretto Bars

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 2 tablespoons amaretto or 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• 1/4 cup ground almonds

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 325°f.
• 2 butter 8 inch square baking pan.
• 3 beat butter & sugar in a bowl until creamy.
• 4 add next 3 ingredients and beat well.
• 5 stir in amaretto & ground almonds.
• 6 pour batter into prepared pan.
• 7 bake 35-40 minutes or until just set.
• 8 cool completely in pan on wire rack.
• 9 cut into squares.
