Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 220 g dark chocolate melts
- 250 g sugar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 eggs
- 150 g plain flour
- 90 g pecan nuts
Recipe
- 1 line a 25cm square slice tin with baking paper.
- 2 pre-heat oven to 180 c.
- 3 place chocolate and butter in a double boiler until just melted.
- 4 take saucepan off the stove and stir in vanilla, sugar, beaten eggs, flour & nuts. stir until mixture just comes together. pour into tin and level off.
- 5 bake 25-30 minutes until mixture is set but not dry.
- 6 don't overcook! the top should be soft to touch - it will crisp up as it cools.
- 7 cut when cool.
