Ingredients

- 1 cup dates, chopped
- 1 cup walnuts or 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- coconut, to thicken
Recipe
- 1 mix all ingredients except coconut.
- 2 thicken with coconut and roll into balls.
- 3 place on parchment paper or lightly greased cookie sheet.
- 4 cook 30 minutes in slow oven, 250°-275°.
- 5 makes approximately 18-20.
