Date Nut Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3 cups oats
• 1 cup dates, chopped
• 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar together. beat in eggs, vanilla and cinnamon. add flour and baking soda, mixing well. stir in oats, dates and nuts. drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. bake at 350 for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
