Aldo's Lemon Cookies

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup dry lemonade mix (not sugar-free)
• 1/4 cup light corn syrup
• 3/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup egg
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350°f; cream sugar, lemonade mix, corn syrup, and butter together until light and fluffy;
• 2 add egg whites and blend at medium speed until smooth, scraping down bowl before and after adding egg ;
• 3 stir flour and baking soda together to blend, then add to creamed mixture, mixing at medium speed.
• 4 spray baking sheets with pan spray (or use a silpat liner); drop dough by tablespoonfuls.
• 5 bake for 8-10 minutes or until they are browned on the bottom.
• 6 remove to a wire rack and cool to room temperature.
