Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon light molasses
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup toasted chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 300°c.
- 2 in a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
- 3 in a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar. add the eggs, molasses, and vanilla. blend well.
- 4 add the flour mixture and mix to blend. stir in the pecans, butterscotch
- 5 chips and chocolate chips. do not overmix.
- 6 drop the cookie dough by rounded tablespoons 2" apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- 7 bake for 18-20 minutes or until set.
- 8 transfer to wire racks to cool.
