Best Chocolate Butterscotch Cookies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon light molasses
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup toasted chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 300°c.
  • 2 in a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
  • 3 in a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar. add the eggs, molasses, and vanilla. blend well.
  • 4 add the flour mixture and mix to blend. stir in the pecans, butterscotch
  • 5 chips and chocolate chips. do not overmix.
  • 6 drop the cookie dough by rounded tablespoons 2" apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 7 bake for 18-20 minutes or until set.
  • 8 transfer to wire racks to cool.
