Buffalo Style Empanadas

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 (16 1/3 ounce) can grands refrigerator biscuits
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing, optional for dipping

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 375 degrees. brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat for 5-7 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. drain, add onions, sauce and mix well. remove from heat.
  • 2 seperate dough into 8 biscuits. press or roll each to form a 6 inch round. spoon beef mixture evenly onto half of each biscuit round. top each with 2 tablespoons of cheese. fold dough over filling, press edges to seal. place on an ungreased large cookie sheet.
  • 3 bake at 375 for 12-17 minutes or until golden brown. serve with ranche dressing for dipping.
