Catie's Lower Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter, applecauce, and sugars well until light and fluffy.
  • 2 add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  • 3 add 1 cup of the flour, the baking soda and the salt, mix well.
  • 4 add remaining flour, mix well.
  • 5 add chocolate chips, combine.
  • 6 drop on cookie sheets by spoonfuls. bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
