Chipotle Lime Chickpeas

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chipotle chiles in adobo
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
  • 1 dash garlic powder (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 in a medium sized bowl, stir together the chipotles in adobo sauce, honey, lime juice, salt, and optional garlic powder. stir well to combine.
  • 3 add cooked chickpeas. stir gently to coat.
  • 4 place the cooked chickpeas on a cookie sheet that has sides. hipotle mixture over the chickpeas and stir to coat.
  • 5 cook them for 30-35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, til crispy.
  • 6 cool the chickpeas before eating.
