Chocolate Ripples

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 -2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter, sugars& vanilla.
  • 2 beat in eggs& water.
  • 3 stir in flour, baking soda& salt.
  • 4 add chocolate chips& nuts.
  • 5 spread in a greased 10x13 pan.
  • 6 bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
  • 7 after 2 minutes of baking, run knife through batter for rippled effect.
  • 8 cut into bars while still warm.
