Cluck-a-doodle-doggie Treats

Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley sprigs, chopped
- 1 cup cooked chicken liver, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400°f.
- 2 combine flour and cornmeal in a bowl.
- 3 in a large bowl add the egg, oil and broth and mix.
- 4 add the flour mixture about 1/3 at a time and mix well between additions.
- 5 add chopped chicken livers until well incorporated into a stiff dough.
- 6 turn out dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead for about 1 minute.
- 7 roll out to a thickness of about 1/2 inch.
- 8 cut into shapes using a cookie cutter dipped in flour.
- 9 place on greased cookie sheets.
- 10 bake treats for about 15 minutes or until firm.
