Delicious Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2/3 cup shortening (crisco)
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 large egg
• 4 teaspoons milk
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• frosting
• 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 cookies- mix shortening, sugar and vanilla. add egg, beat until light and fluffy. stir in milk, stir in dry ingredients. divide dough and chill
• 2 roll and cut, bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees about 6-8 minutes.
• 3 frosting- cream together cream cheese and butter until smooth, mix in the vanilla and gradually stir in the powdered sugar.
