Cocoa Kiss Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup hershey cocoa
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 (12 ounce) bag hershey chocolate kisses
- powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 beat butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
- 2 stir together flour and cocoa.
- 3 gradually add butter mixture, beating until blended.
- 4 add pecans.
- 5 beat until well blended.
- 6 refrigerate dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
- 7 heat oven to 375°.
- 8 remove wrappers from kisses.
- 9 mold tablespoon of dough around each kiss, covering completely.
- 10 shape in to balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 11 bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
- 12 cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet then transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
- 13 roll in powdered sugar.
