Cheddar Cheese Straws

Total Time: 26 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb finely grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 cream cheese and butter together using an electric mixer.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • 4 roll dough out to a 1/4" thick rectangle on a floured cutting board.
  • 5 cut into 3/4" wide strips.
  • 6 twist the strips a few times and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 7 bake 5-7 minutes; cool on a rack.
